2006 WEA Leadership Academy

What is WEALA?

It's three-and-a-half days of professional development, leadership training and fun. General classes are open to all WEA members on a space-available basis, with additional invitation-only classes for specific key audiences within WEA's membership. Registration packets have been mailed to all local associations and UniServ councils. Please contact your local education association or UniServ council office if you are interested in attending WEALA.

A few details:

  • Double occupancy hotel room with lunches & Tuesday night social cost $307 per person
  • Commuter (no hotel) with lunches is $145 per person
  • Commuter only (no meals) is $115 per person

WEALA 2006 will be held July 31 to Aug. 3 at the Shoreline Conference Center. Registration will occur on Monday this year.
