The Student Washington Education Association (SWEA) is a professional association for students pursuing a degree in the field of education including preschool & K-12 teachers.

SWEA is a great way to connect and network with other education majors, build and gain leadership skills through pre-professional opportunities and peer mentoring, and supplement formal teacher-education training. Members have an opportunity to participate and attend WEA conferences and serve on various boards, as well. SWEA is part of the NEA Student Program.
